ELIZABETHTOWN – Hardin County residents will be seeing some changes this year in their tax rates as personal property tax rates increase while the real estate property rate falls to its lowest rate since 1990.
The real estate rate is 10.9 cents per $100 for the general and road funds, down from an even 11 cents per $100 last year. For a $150,000 home that rate would yield $163.50.
