FRANKFORT – Criteria set forth this week by the State Medical Examiner’s office in Frankfort could increase the tally of ice-storm related fatalities, including those in Hardin County.
Mike Wilder, executive director of Kentucky’s State Medical Examiner’s office, said Thursday that any death that wouldn’t have happened without the ice storm and its remnants will be classified as a storm-related death.
