The city of Elizabethtown now has some options for reducing energy consumption at city hall and Pritchard Community Center.
Lexington-based Paladin Inc. presented the results of its energy audit at the two facilities this week to Elizabethtown City Council and offered recommendations on how the city could use available grant money to reduce the amount of energy usage at each facility.
Many of the suggestions were cost-intensive, but Paladin modified its final recommendations to meet the city’s cost constraints.
