Growing up on a farm in southern Hardin County, my experience with eating game was limited to fried rabbit. But, thanks to Benny Sweat, in the last two months I have had the pleasure of eating venison sausage-stuffed mushrooms, wild turkey tenders with honey glaze, pheasant with apples and pears, venison roast and dove hors d’ oeuvres.
