Democratic Woman’s Club gathers for November meeting

The Democratic Woman’s Club has been active this past month. The featured speaker at the monthly meeting was Mayor J. J. Duvall, who updated members on recent activities of the city.

The Democratic Woman of the Month was Carolyn Shelman, tireless worker and club treasurer, and President Bev Rickey with Shelman receiving her certificate.

During the meeting Mayor Duvall made a surprise presentation to JoAnn Winkenhofer, declaring a day in Radcliff in her honor for receiving the Anne Shanks Bourne award, the highest state Democratic Women Club’s recognition.

The Northern Hardin Democratic Women joined veterans in participating in the Vine Grove Veteran’s Parade. Pictured are several members of the club, along with some of the veterans who rode the patriotic float.
