Democratic Women welcome 2nd District Director as speaker

Northern Hardin County Democratic Woman’s Club recently met at the Colvin Community Center in Radcliff.


During the meeting, Yvonne Grimes introduced Romanza Johnson, the Second District Director for the Woman’s Club. She and several others from her home club in Warren County were present for the event. She talked about the three “L’s” Live well, Love much and laugh often. She introduced Betty Sanson, the state membership director, and Ann Griffin from Warren County. Johnson reviewed the upcoming District meeting in Bardstown on Aug. 9.

Portia Petties introduced Mike Weaver, 26th District House candidate.

Yvonne Grimes, first vice-president reviewed the high school scholarship and reported that a North Hardin High School girl, going to Western Kentucky University next year, is the recipient. Small will be at the August meeting to read her essay.
