Elizabethtown Independent Schools next year will have almost four dozen students who come from outside district boundaries.
The district and Hardin County Schools completed their annual random draw Friday for students to attend schools outside of the district in which they live.
EIS drew the names of 45 students, bringing to 175 the number of students who attend the district while living outside of it boundaries.
The district had new 25 slots to fill and 20 other slots that opened up when previously selected students graduated or did not re-enroll.
