Terry Shipp, the newest voice on Elizabethtown City Council, recently asked a plain and straight-forward question. How can a city offer a $28 million tourism-focused sports park and fail to provide a public pool?
It started the council and the community talking.
“These kids need a place where they can go,” Shipp said. “They need a pool.”
