BIG SPRING — Unlike most festivals that see a parade near the front of the festivities, the two-day Big Spring Down Home Days this weekend will end with a parade.
"It's our way of keeping everyone interested and around for what we have,'' said Karen Slinker, vice president of the event organizing committee.
Before the parade hits the streets, there will be several events available for all ages.
