HARDIN COUNTY — With the historical presumptive nomination by the Democratic Party of Barack Obama as a presidential candidate, local black residents are seeing a variety of implications, including new opportunities and the realization of a civil rights leader’s dream.
“Tears came to my eyes,” Allan Francis, owner of Bedrock Digital, said of his experience watching Obama claim the Democratic nomination.
