Early Childhood Council receives state grant money

The Hardin County Early Childhood Council was one of 21 to receive state money to pursue projects for children ages birth to 5.

The local group, which applied for the grant, received $25,000 through the Governor’s Office of Early Childhood, part of almost $600,000 distributed around the state to Community Early Childhood Councils.

Hardin County’s council is composed of professionals in fields such as preschool and child care.
