LARUE COUNTY — A two-car collision Monday afternoon on U.S. 31E about 7 miles north of Hodgenville left two drivers with serious but non-life threatening injuries, police say.
Sharon D. Bush, 56, of Elizabethtown, was traveling north on 31E in a 2003 Chevrolet Trailblazer when her vehicle dropped off the right shoulder of the roadway, according to a Kentucky State Police news release.
Bush overcorrected and lost control of her vehicle, which crossed the center line and struck a 2003 Ford Explorer driven by Felipe Ramirez, 21, of Hodgenville.
LaRue County EMS transported Bush to Hardin Memorial Hospital and Ramirez to University Hospital in Louisville.
KSP continues to investigate the wreck.
