It appears Elizabethtown City officials will not take a vote on the economic hardship issue until 2012.
The hardship has been removed from Wednesday’s special called meeting, which is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. at Elizabethtown City Hall.
Elizabethtown Mayor Tim Walker said the topic was scratched from the agenda out of the council’s respect for the sudden death of his sister, Patricia. Monday’s regular scheduled meeting was postponed to Wednesday because his sister's visitation was scheduled the same evening, Walker added.
