EHS junior to compete in Miss Teen USA

Next year’s Miss Teen USA pageant will have a local face among the girls vying for a crown and a posh New York City address.
Stephanie Jones, a junior at Elizabethtown High School, will compete in the national pageant this summer after being crowned Nov. 14 as Miss Teen Kentucky USA.
Jones competed in the pageant last year and placed as first runner-up after only participating in one other pageant. With her lack of pageant experience, she didn’t expect to go far last year, she said. That success gave her more faith in this year’s competition.
