EIS earns accreditation

Elizabethtown Independent School District is one of seven school systems in Kentucky to be recognized for achieving voluntary system accreditation through the AdvancED/Southern Association of Colleges and Schools accreditation process.

The Kentucky Department of Education announced the achievement last week.

Accreditation is a voluntary method of quality assurance for schools and districts.
