EIS in good position despite funding declines

The Elizabethtown Independent Schools budget shows declines in funding, but a strong savings is making up for the weak areas.

The EIS board approved its working budget Monday night, the final step in the budgetary process. The budget showed mostly small differences from the tentative budget, which was approved in May by the board.
