EIS to use April 1 as make-up day

Elizabethtown Independent Schools will use April 1 as a make-up day for instructional time lost because of snow. Students were scheduled to be dismissed that day while teachers used it for professional development.
The district has missed five days of school because of snow. Students attended school on Feb. 18 and 21 to make up two of the days.
