ELIZABETHTOWN — Elizabethtown City Council adopted a $67 million budget for the 2008-09 fiscal year Monday, while also passing a new zoning ordinance that will update an old ordinance with some key changes to zoning districts and parking in the city.
The budget, which the council referred to as ambitious, covers general government, debt service, water, sewer, gas utilities and tourism.
