At the March 22 meeting of the Elizabethtown Lions Club, they had as their dinner guests 19 Scranton University students. The students stated Scranton is a Jesuit University whose focus is service. The young ladies gave up their spring break and traveled to Kentucky to work on Habitat for Humanity Homes. Working together in another area of interest, they are all members of a self-supported rowing team. They were accompanied by Hospitality Chair for Habitat for Humanity, Tuula Poikonen, fourth from left, front row. Poikonen organizes meals for volunteer workers served on site.
