Elizabethtown preparing for water facility upgrade

ELIZABETHTOWN — The City Springs Water Treatment Plant in Elizabethtown soon will be getting an overhaul.

The Elizabethtown City Council approved Monday a partnership with HDR/Quest, an architecture and engineering consulting firm headquartered in Lexington, to begin the initial phases of a renovation project which has an estimated cost of $1.3 million.
