Attendance for Elizabethtown’s summer concert at Freeman Lake Park was down Friday, but Events Coordinator Sarah Vaughn said the cover bands were fantastic and those who attended had a great time.
Rain showers hounded the city most of the day and appeared to dissuade some who may have purchased tickets at the gate, city officials said.
“The rain hurt us,” Mayor Tim Walker said.
The park was muddy in spots, Walker said, but the entertainment was top notch.
