Complaints an Elizabethtown man filed against Hardin County EMS with the Kentucky Board of Emergency Medical Services have been resolved.
One was dismissed because of insufficient evidence. The other was resolved when the ambulance service agreed to institute new training procedures.
Richard Leal filed a complaint in 2012 alleging his adult daughter, Lizbeth, was injured by a paramedic student who carried her over his shoulder into an ambulance. According to Leal, the student was unsupervised at the time.
