ELIZABETHTOWN – The rapid descent of prices adorning gas station signs has led to an influx of drivers happy to be paying less, but Elizabethtown City Council Candidate Steve Atcher thinks the city should not be lulled into a sense of false security.
Atcher said oil prices are being slashed primarily because of the anguished stock market, and a rise in consumer confidence could equal a rise in prices again.
