ELIZABETHTOWN — Elizabethtown City Council on Monday approved an agreement with HDR/Quest Engineers for the engineering, design and construction services for the Freeman Creek flood relief project at a cost not to exceed $120,865.
Earlier this year, HDR/Quest analyzed a plan to reduce flooding in the Freeman Creek area and suggested the city build a bridge system along College Street Road which could alleviate flooding problem in the Freeman Creek Estates subdivision without causing negative effects to residents downstream.
