Elizabethtown voters will weigh in on the sale of liquor by the drink in January.
Hardin County Judge-Executive Harry Berry issued an executive order Wednesday setting a second wet/dry vote for Jan. 8 in the city. A majority vote would authorize retail liquor licenses which allow licensed establishments to serve distilled spirits and wine by the drink on their premises without sales limitations and seating requirements. In other words, it would authorize bars.
