HARDIN COUNTY — An Elizabethtown man has been arrested in the robbery of two local motels.
Eric D. Pleasant, 24, was arrested Wednesday.
He is accused of robbing the Fort Knox Inn in Radcliff and the Roadside Inn in Elizabethtown in July.
In the Fort Knox Inn robbery, Pleasant is accused of first-degree robbery when he pointed a handgun at the desk clerk. He allegedly stated “Gimmie the money,” to which the clerk gave him $220 from the cash register.
Police say while exiting the office of the Fort Knox Inn he pointed the handgun in the direction of the clerk and fired a round in the direction of the motel clerk.
He is being held on a $250,000 cash bond on the robbery charge, and $10,000 cash bond on the wanton endangerment charge.
