The Warrior Dash, originally slated to occur in Hardin County, is Saturday in Lebanon.

Organizers said they expect 5,000 participants.

The 5K race welcomes all athletic abilities. Pope’s Creek Ranch hosts the event with obstacles and three miles of terrain. Runners begin the race at 9 a.m. with staggered start times throughout the morning.

After the race is over, participants and onlookers can celebrate with live music, food and beer.

“Warrior Dash provides an incomparable experience for participants and spectators,” race director Alex Yount said in a news release. “The unique combination of athleticism, live music, turkey legs and beer keeps warriors coming back for more.”

Racers can participate in fundraising for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital during the event.
