Merianne Johnson’s $30 worth of lottery tickets turned into a $10,000 birthday present for her mother.
Johnson buys the tickets for her mother for birthdays and holidays. The most that Merian Johnson had won before was $37 until she scratched off a Betty Boop ticket March 14 for her 87th birthday.
