Second-class treatment In the Feb. 10 edition of The News-Enterprise, Maj. Gen. Donald M. Campbell, the armor center commander, is reported to have said, “the tradition of Army armor remains intact, despite the words of some who say just the opposite.” Count me among the “some” who contend otherwise. I say this because armor’s tradition of being a prestigious branch with a large amount of independence is being degraded by their move from Kentucky to Georgia.
