Fire blazes on Youngers Creek

Firefighters work at the scene of a house fire Tuesday on Youngers Creek Road.

The rubble of a house on Youngers Creek Road continues to burn Tuesday afternoon as firefighters work around the property to put out the flames spreading through the grass. The house was fully involved when firefighters arrived, said Central Hardin Fire Department assistant chief Ben Green. Fire officials received the call at 3:13 p.m. while out on a grass fire, Green said. Central Hardin, Boston and Valley Creek fire departments all were on scene. Green reported there were no injuries. As of Tuesday afternoon, a cause for the fire had not been determined.
