RADCLIFF — Some residents displaced after an apartment complex fire on Wilma Avenue were left scratching their heads after not receiving money from a collection fund set up at Wal-Mart in Radcliff.
Several people affected by the fire sent e-mails to The News-Enterprise asking why money raised on their behalf was donated to the local chapter of the American Red Cross.
The July 28 fire left families in 12 units with no place to call home.
