Goodbye to Mulberry

Shirley and Carl Goodman celebrated a wedding anniversary Sunday in the building where they were married. But it was a bittersweet day for the Goodmans, knowing this likely would be the last time they would be in the building.
First Christian Church in Elizabethtown celebrated its last worship services Sunday in its current building on North Mulberry Street. The congregation is moving temporarily to the building owned by Elizabethtown Christian Academy on West Poplar Street, after selling the Mulberry property to Elizabethtown Independent Schools.
