First reading of the budget proposal for county government is on the agenda for Tuesday’s meeting of Hardin Fiscal Court.
Judge-Executive Harry Berry recommended a $31.4 million operational budget and for $16.3 million in capital projects, which includes six new ambulances, work at Pearl Hollow Landfill and a new county government complex near Ring Road.
The meeting, which begins at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday on the third floor of the courthouse, will open with a required public hearing on county road aid and economic assistance funds.
