A former member of the Grayson County Sheriff’s Department was arraigned Tuesday on three charges including a felony drug charge and allegations that he hindered prosecution.
Terry Blanton, a former sheriff’s detective, was indicted by the November grand jury on two felony and one misdemeanor charges in circuit court. He is free on a $10,000 surety bond.
According to the indictment, Blanton is accused of theft of a controlled substance, second-degree trafficking in a controlled substance hydrocodone and second-degree hindering apprehension.
