Former officer facing sex charges commits suicide, coroner reports

A former Radcliff police officer facing felony sex charges in Florida committed suicide early Tuesday at his home in West Point.

David Eugene Williams, 39, was a 15-year veteran at the Radcliff Police Department when he resigned May 10, 2011, after the Brevard County, Fla., Sheriff’s Office charged him with computer solicitation of a minor.
