Former school buildings, equipment for sale

Want to buy a school building? Bidding begins today on Meade County Schools’ surplus property. Two empty school buildings and some second-hand school and office equipment are on the auction block.

Meade County Superintendent Mitch Crump announced the former Battletown and Muldraugh elementary school buildings will be sold later this month. Barr Realty and Auction, which is handling the property, will accept bids for 10 days beginning at 1 p.m. today.
