After 46 years, Walter "Dee" Huddleston is stepping down from the board of First Financial Service Corp. and its banking subsidiary First Federal Savings Bank of Elizabethtown.
The company announced the decision Monday although his retiremet was effective Sept. 19.
A former U.S. senator and broadcaster, Huddleston spent 15 years as board chairman during his service as director. He will retain the title of director emeritus.
