LOUISVILLE — Come Friday, Sgt. 1st Class Jamie Buckley, an active duty soldier at Fort Knox, hopes Derby Festival goers will race to downtown Louisville to see him sing. The performance is part of the 2008 Kroger’s Fest-a-Ville on the Waterfront.
Buckley, who performs country music as part of his job with U.S. Army Recruiting Command, said he is especially looking forward to the Derby event concert because it’s close to home.
