A portion of French Street between North Mulberry Street and Pawnee Drive remains closed after months of repair work and Elizabethtown City Engineer Scott Reynolds said Monday he is unsure when the road will reopen to traffic.
The project, which launched last fall, was projected to last about 90 days and focused on drainage and curb repairs on the street.
Reynolds said a delay in construction pushed the project behind schedule and the frigid weather has kept crews from pouring asphalt.
