CAMPBELLSVILLE — Sensational sophomore tailback Kendon Young rushed for a game-best 191 yards and a touchdown on 21 carries as the Campbellsville Eagles beat LaRue County, 34-7 on Friday night at Dave Fryrear Field.
Young’s 47-yard scoring run in the fourth quarter put the game out of reach for the Hawks, who were looking to avoid their first winless regular season in at least 23 years.
In a season marred by injuries and players leaving the team, everything seemed to catch up to the Hawks against the Eagles (3-7).
