Funding for county government center design survives with budget

Hardin Fiscal Court approved the county’s 2012-13 budget without providing an answer to Elizabethtown City Council’s offer to assist in the design and construction of a new county government center downtown.

Mayor Tim Walker and Elizabethtown-Hardin County Heritage Council Executive Director Heath Seymour pleaded Tuesday on behalf of a partnership before the vote.
