Garden Club of Elizabethtown provides horticulture gift to library

Garden Club of Elizabethtown Co-President Deborah Weise presents Gloria Stahl, youth services librarian at the Hardin County Public Library, a horticulture gift, a bronze chrysanthemum, to be used in the main branch for the enjoyment of its patrons. The garden club’s purpose is for charitable and educational purposes which promote the well-being of the community and provide civic beauty. The annual yard sale Oct. 18 and 19 at the Brown-Pusey House enables the club to continue enriching opportunities. Monthly meetings are at 10 a.m. the first Thursday March through December at the Brown-Pusety House. For information, call Deborah, 766-1073.
