Garden Club members to host flower planting event today

The Garden Club of Elizabethtown will host a flower planting event from 2 to 4 p.m. today, Sept. 19 at Allegro.

Members from the Garden Club will work with the residents of Allegro and others in the community in putting together decorative planters. The pots of flowers will adorn resident apartment patios and balconies, as well as the main patio of the memory care unit.

The Garden Club of Elizabethtown will educate participants about the different types of flowers to be planted and give tips on how to tend the newly planted flowers. Lunch will be provided.
