Fifteen members of the Garden Club of Elizabethtown recently went on a field trip to the Baker Arboretum and Museum in Bowling Green.
It was a beautiful day to walk along the paths with the group’s guide, Peggy McGillip, and observe the fall colors and the Arboretum’s huge collection of conifer, dogwood and Japanese maple trees.
The museum features the art works of Kentucky native Joe Downing, who died in 2007, as well as antique and contemporary sculpture, fountains and garden ornaments.
