Of all the new experiences starting school would bring, I feared morning mayhem more than anything else.
We have a history of falling apart in the morning.
I’m guilty of chanting “hurry up,” guilty of yelling “get in here and brush your teeth right now” and guilty of walking away from a half-dressed child, completely infuriated over a pair of socks.
