Meade County’s Morgan Turner got on a roll Monday night. Her Lady Waves stayed on one.
Paced by 12 points, a game-high 12 rebounds and a game-high five blocks from their star sophomore, the host Lady Waves cruised to a 58-38 win over the Oldham County Lady Colonels.
Turner also had two assists for the Lady Waves (17-8), who have won six straight and 9-of-11.
Senior center Maya Luney scored a team-high 13 points and grabbed seven rebounds for Meade County, while junior guard Raley Johnson (11 points, four rebounds, two assists) and sophomore guard Addi Lynch (10 points, game-high four assists) also reached double figures.
Junior guard Katelyn Cucino added nine points and three assists for the Lady Waves, who led Oldham County (10-11) by 15 points at the half.
