GIRLS' PREP BASKETBALL ROUNDUP: Elizabethtown rolls by Hart (02/13)

Elizabethtown’s young inside tandem of freshman forward Erin Boley and sophomore center Reauna Cleaver combined to outscore Hart County by themselves Tuesday as the ninth-ranked Lady Panthers routed the visiting Lady Raiders, 70-23.

Boley had 13 points, five rebounds and two steals, while Cleaver had 12 points, five rebounds, three steals and two assists as Elizabethtown stayed rested by playing 10 players at least 13 minutes and no player more than 19.

Senior guard Jessica Duwe added 11 points and senior forward Madison Lark had nine points and four rebounds.

JOHN HARDIN 66, BARDSTOWN BETHLEHEM 33. Junior wing Nawdya Fletcher hit all five of her team’s 3-pointers and finished with a game-high 17 points as the host Lady Bulldogs (21-7) crushed the Banshees (6-14), who have dropped 9-of-11.

Fletcher also had six rebounds as the Lady Bulldogs won for the fifth-team in six games.

Senior center Michelle Montgomery added 16 points, eight rebounds and one block for John Hardin. Junior wing Zacchea Small chipped in with 12 points, four assists and four steals, while junior guard Tajah Haley had eight points and seven assists.

No. 16 LARUE COUNTY 53, WASHINGTON COUNTY 45. Junior wing Ivy Brown had 24 points, 10 rebounds, six steals and three assists as the Lady Hawks (22-5) pulled away from the Commanderettes (13-12) after leading by just a point early in the third quarter.

Sophomore guard Alexis Brewer added 19 points, five rebounds and three assists for LaRue County, which has won four straight and 11-of-12.

Senior forward Alisha Durbin chipped in with four points, eight rebounds, four steals and two blocks.

NORTH HARDIN CHRISTIAN 39, OAK RIDGE CHRISTIAN 17. Eighth-grader Skye Brown had 13 points and three assists as the Lady Falcons (13-4) rolled on the road.

Senior Missy Schneider grabbed six rebounds and scored three points, giving her 1,000 in her high school career.

Sophomore Shontice Taylor added eight points, four assists and four steals.
