GIRLS' PREP BASKETBALL ROUNDUP: Roberts leads North Hardin by Ohio County (02/10)

Senior forward Chanel Roberts had 21 points, 15 rebounds, four assists, four steals and one block on Saturday to lead the North Hardin Lady Trojans to a 58-47 win over visiting Ohio County.

Freshman guard Tamiah Stanford added 17 points and three steals for North Hardin (21-6), which has won 3-of-4 and 8-of-11.

ADAIRCOUNTY 74, CENTRAL HARDIN 30. The visiting Lady Indians (21-7) scored 28 points in the first 8 minutes as they cruised to their eighth straight win.

Sophomore forward Melanie Humphrey had nine points to lead Central Hardin (4-21), which has lost three straight.

FORTKNOXLOSES TWO. The Lady Eagles (1-24), lost a pair of road games over the weekend, losing to 67-16 North Bullitt on Saturday to after losing 63-45 to Hart County on Friday.

No statistics for either game were available.

FRIDAY: LARUE COUNTY 56, TAYLOR COUNTY 22. Sophomore guard Alexis Brewer closed in on a quadruple-double, as did junior wing Ivy Brown, as the visiting Lady Hawks (20-5) throttled the Lady Cardinals (3-19).

Brewer had 16 points, eight assists, eight steals and seven rebounds. Brown added 23 points, eight rebounds, seven steals and five assists.

Junior post Alley Evans chipped in with eight points and six rebounds.

Senior Missy Schneider led North Hardin Christian with 13 points, eight rebounds, seven steals and two assists. Sophomore Shontice Taylor added 10 points, eight rebounds, seven steals and two assists.
