North Hardin senior Lydia Gumm didn’t expect Wednesday to be such an emotional day, but that quickly changed when she realized the gravity of the moment.
Gumm signed a national letter of intent to play golf next season at Florida State, where she’ll enroll in January. She had committed to the Seminoles in March, but couldn’t sign until the early signing period which began Wednesday.
