GIRLS' PREP SOCCER ROUNDUP: Lamberg nets another hat trick for John Hardin (08/26)

Junior forward Zoe Lamberg recorded her second hat trick of the season Monday night, leading the John Hardin Lady Bulldogs to a 10-0 win over visiting 5th Region foe Marion County.

Lamberg also had a hat trick in John Hardin’s season-opening win over LaRue County last week.

Junior midfielder Bianca Brangers had two goals and an assist, while senior forward Erika Ralston scored twice.

Junior midfielder Keianna Morris had a goal and two assists, while freshman forward Hannah Munoz chipped in with a goal and an assist. Senior midfielder Bella Lundy and sophomore midfielder Ally Furnish each had an assist.

Senior keeper Tamera Taylor and junior reserve Tamia Gordon each had one save for the Lady Bulldogs (2-0), who led 8-0 at the half and scored their 10th goal with 15 minutes left.

UP NEXT: John Hardin hosts Central Hardin 7 p.m. Wednesday.

MEADE COUNTY 6, TAYLOR COUNTY 1. Junior forward Madison Reff had three goals and an assist to lead the homestanding Lady Waves (2-1) past the Lady Cardinals.

Sophomore midfielder Alika Anderson added a goal and an assist, while senior forward Jaycee Serrano and freshman midfielder Shelbie Williams also scored. Sophomore midfielder Kourtnie Hersey added two assists and senior midfielder Brittany Butler had one.

Freshman keeper Felicity Shirkey made nine saves for Meade County, which led 3-0 at the half.

UP NEXT: Meade County hosts Louisville Pleasure Ridge Park at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday.

LARUE COUNTY 11, BRECKIN­RIDGE COUNTY 1. Sophomore forward Gillian Nunn scored four times to lift the host Lady Hawks (1-2) past the Lady Tigers (0-1).

Freshman forward Natalie Wolf had two goals and an assist, while senior midfielder Rachel Wolf added two goals.

Sophomore midfielder Hattie Ward, junior midfielder Nichole Thomas and senior Sierra Mullins also scored for LaRue County.

Mullins and freshman reserve keeper Sarah Warren each made two saves.
